Everything you need to know about selling on Dripscan — your rights, responsibilities, and how we work together.
Overview
This Seller Agreement governs your use of Dripscan as a selling brand or individual seller. By completing the vendor signup process and listing products on Dripscan, you agree to be bound by these terms in full. These terms are in addition to our general Terms and Conditions, which also apply to all users of the platform.
Seller Eligibility
To sell on Dripscan, you must:
- Be a legitimate UK-registered business or sole trader (or an international brand approved by Dripscan)
- Operate in the fashion, beauty, or closely related lifestyle category
- Have a valid email address and bank or PayPal account for receiving payments
- Agree to all terms of this agreement before your account is approved
- Be at least 18 years old
Dripscan reserves the right to decline or terminate any seller application at its discretion.
Product Listings
You are responsible for the accuracy and quality of your listings. All products must:
- Be accurately described, including materials, sizing, and condition
- Use original images that you own or have the right to use
- Be priced in GBP (British Pounds)
- Be legal to sell in the United Kingdom
- Not be counterfeit, stolen, or in breach of any third-party intellectual property rights
Dripscan reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these requirements without notice.
Prohibited Items
The following items may not be listed on Dripscan under any circumstances:
- Counterfeit or replica goods
- Items subject to export or import restrictions
- Hazardous or unsafe products
- Products that make unsubstantiated health or medical claims
- Alcohol, tobacco, or controlled substances
- Adult content or items of a sexual nature
- Items that promote hatred, discrimination, or violence
Fees and Commission
Dripscan charges a commission on each completed sale. The commission rate depends on your subscription plan (Starter, Growth, or Pro). Full pricing is available on your vendor dashboard under Subscription.
Payments are held in escrow for a short period after each sale and released to your Stripe Connect or PayPal account on a rolling basis. Dripscan reserves the right to withhold payouts in the event of disputes, returns, or suspected fraud.
Fulfilment and Delivery
As a seller on Dripscan, you are responsible for:
- Dispatching orders within the timeframe stated on your product listing
- Providing accurate tracking information where available
- Packaging items securely to avoid damage in transit
- Communicating promptly with customers about any delays
Repeated fulfilment failures may result in suspension or removal from the platform.
Returns and Disputes
Sellers must comply with UK consumer law, including the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (14-day right to return) and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. When a customer raises a return or dispute through Dripscan, you are required to respond within 5 working days. If you fail to respond, Dripscan may issue a refund to the customer on your behalf and deduct the amount from future payouts.
Seller Conduct
Sellers must not:
- Attempt to direct customers to transact outside of the Dripscan platform
- Manipulate reviews or feedback in any way
- Use Dripscan to sell on behalf of unregistered third parties
- Send unsolicited marketing communications to customers
- Misrepresent their brand, products, or business
Intellectual Property
By listing on Dripscan, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your product images, descriptions, and brand assets on the platform for the purpose of operating the marketplace. You retain full ownership of your content. You confirm that all content you upload is either owned by you or that you have the rights to use it commercially.
Suspension and Termination
Dripscan may suspend or terminate your seller account at any time if you breach this agreement, receive repeated complaints from customers, engage in fraudulent activity, or otherwise act in a way that damages the reputation of the marketplace. You may close your account at any time by contacting sellers@dripscan.com. Any outstanding payouts will be settled within 30 days of account closure.
Changes to This Agreement
We may update this Seller Agreement from time to time. We will notify active sellers by email before significant changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
